Leave It Better 2024
Here is a list of the Leave It Better projects for the weekend of October 5-6, 2024. Click on the button to sign up for a project.
SPECIAL HURRICANE RELIEF OPPORTUNITY
Pinedale is collecting items for those affected by Hurricane Helene. We will be receiving supplies beginning Thursday through the weekend or until the trailer is full. Donations will be accepted from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM daily. Workers are needed to receive goods and pack them in the trailer. You may sign up to pack the trailer HERE.
This project is for those 16 and older who are physically able to load a tractor trailer. Heavy lifting is required.

There are many opportunities to serve at the Veterans Dental Clinic taking place on both Saturday, October 5th and Sunday, October 6th. This project is for those 16 and older. Each opportunity has a limited number of spaces available each day. Registration will automatically close when the project is full. |

Pinedale has partnered with Friedberg Elementary School to provide all the resources for their annual Fall Festival including the volunteers necessary to staff all the games, inflatables, security, parking, and more. This project is family friendly for all ages and has a limit of 125 spaces available. Registration will automatically close when the project is full. |

We will be serving at the Bice home by painting, replacing deck boards and minor home repairs. This project is for those 12 and older. There are 35 spaces available. THIS PROJECT IS NOW FULL |

We will be making cards to encourage people in our local community. This project is family friendly for all ages and has 75 spaces available. Registration will automatically close when the project is full. THIS PROJECT IS NOW FULL |

We will be making caps for children and adults who have lost their hair due to chemo treatments. This project is for those 14 and older. There are 20 spaces available. Registration will automatically close when the project is full. |

We will be serving at City Lights Ministry by working in the clothing closet, the food pantry, organizing, and cleaning. This project is family friendly for all ages and has 50 spaces available. Registration will automatically close when the project is full. THIS PROJECT IS NOW FULL |

We will be partnering with Mission: Feet First to provide new shoes to guests located at the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission.
