Leave It Better 2023

Here is a list of the Leave It Better projects for the weekend of October 7-8, 2023. Click on the button to sign up for a project.

*If you do not have a Leave It Better shirt (or want a new one), visit the Pinedale Book Store to make a purchase. The Book Store is located on the first floor, across from the Children's Welcome Center. It is open before and after church on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7

There are many opportunities to serve at the Veterans Dental Clinic taking place on both Saturday, October 7th and Sunday, October 8th.

This project is for those 16 and older. Each opportunity has a limited number of spaces available each day. Registration will automatically close when the project is full.

Pinedale has partnered with Welcome Elementary School to provide all the resources for their annual Fall Festival including the volunteers necessary to staff all the games, inflatables, security, parking, and more.

This project is family friendly for all ages and has a limit of 125 spaces available. Registration will automatically close when the project is full.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 8


We will be serving a neighbor with health concerns by doing yardwork, mowing, landscaping, trimming, and small tree removal. This project is for those 12 and older. There are 15 spaces available. THIS PROJECT IS NOW FULL.		We will be making cards to encourage people in our local community. This project is family friendly for all ages and has 100 spaces available. THIS PROJECT IS NOW FULL.


We will be partnering with Mission: Feet First to provide new shoes to guests located at Samaritan Ministries. This project is family friendly for all ages.* There are 75 spaces available. Registration will automatically close when the project is full. THIS PROJECT IS NOW FULL. *Volunteers 18 & under must be accompanied by a parent.		We will spend some time taking care of various odd jobs in and around the Main Worship Center. This project is family friendly for all ages. There are 35 spaces available. Registration will automatically close when the project is full. THIS PROJECT IS NOW FULL.


The purpose of the Prayer Room is to lift requests before the Throne of Mercy and Grace. This project is family friendly for all ages and has unlimited spaces available.		We will be preparing a meal, making sandwiches, and fixing bagged lunches for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House, as well as helping with various other tasks around the property. This project is for ages 13* and older. There are 25 spaces available. Registration will automatically close when the project is full. THIS PROJECT IS NOW FULL. *Volunteers 13-16 must be accompanied by an adult.


We will be serving Shoemake family by painting and staining decks at their home. This project is for those 12 and older. There are 15 spaces available. Registration will automatically close when the project is full. THIS PROJECT IS NOW FULL.		Say "Thank you" to our Veterans in a tangible way by washing their vehicles. This project is family friendly for all ages. There are 50 spaces available. Registration will automatically close when the project is full. THIS PROJECT IS NOW FULL.


Help organize and deliver food items collected throughout September to the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission Food. This project is family friendly for all ages. There are 4 spaces available. Registration will automatically close when the project is full. THIS PROJECT IS NOW FULL. Volunteers 7 & under must be accompanied by a parent.
