FREQUENTY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q - Will services be at their normal times?

A - At this time, services will by at 9:00 and 11:00. Both services are identical. We adjusted the times to allow time to sanitize between services. *The 11:00 service will be streamed live.

Q - Will services still be live-streamed?

A - Yes. The 11:00 service will be live-streamed each Sunday morning.

Q - Will seating be limited?

A - Yes. In order to maintain proper social distancing, we will use approximately 33% of the available seats in the room. Seating will be available in every other row. Please sit with your family, and leave at least 2 empty seats between the next family.

Q - Will there be Communion and offering?

A - We will have a Communion time. You can pick up elements from a table as you enter the building. We will not pass offering bags. You will be able to drop your offering in containers at the rear of the Worship Center as you leave. As always, you also may give securely online by clicking HERE.

Q - Will children's programming (or nursery) be available?

A - We will not offer "in-person" children's programming at this time. We will continue to offer our excellent on-line children's programming. There will be no nursery available at this time.

Q - Should I attend if I have experienced symptoms recently?

A - If you've experienced any of the following within the week prior to the service, please worship with us at pinedale.church:

  • Fever of 100 degrees or higher
  • Cough or sore throat
  • Shortness of breath
  • Close contact with anyone confirmed to have COVID-19 (in the past 14 days)

Q - Should I attend if I'm a senior adult?

A - We have another option for senior/middle adults beginning July 21st. We are offering  a Tuesday-morning worship service (that includes singing and Communion) at 10:00 for senior adults only. Bill and Danny will lead this services.

Q - Where should I go when I arrive?

A - Park in the north (long) parking lot and enter the Main Worship Center doors. Please practice social distancing by remaining 6 feet from others. (Volunteers will be available to help).

Q - Where should I sit?

A - When you choose a seat, please move to the end of the row to prevent others from being forced to climb over you. Only family members from the same household should sit together, leaving two seats between them and others to account for proper social distancing. Please listen to directions for dismissal.

Q - Can I visit with my friends before or after the service?

A - During this time, we ask that you practice safe social distancing by going directly to your seat and, following the service, directly to your vehicle. Please remain 6 feet apart and refrain from hugging, handshaking, and any other physical contact. Please do not congregate in the foyer.

Q - Will hand sanitizer be available?

A - Yes. Hand sanitizer stations will be at the entrance and throughout the building. We hope you will use it as you enter.

Q - Do I have to wear a mask?

A - North Carolina has issued a mask mandate that makes wearing protective face masks in public spaces mandatory. As a result, masks will be required for all Pinedale guests, staff and volunteers until further notice. (If you do not have a mask, we will provide one). If you are uncomfortable wearing a mask or gathering in person, we fully understand. Remember, we still stream our online service at 11:00.

Q - Will restrooms be open?

A - Yes.
