When Anger Gets Between Us

Sep 13, 2026    Jon Hauser

Anger rarely stays inside us—eventually, it gets between us. In Ephesians 4:26–32, Paul shows us that anger itself isn’t always the problem; the danger is what we allow anger to become. When left unresolved, anger can shape our words, create distance, and harden into bitterness. But because of the grace we’ve received through Jesus, there’s another way forward. Anger may explain what happened between us. Bitterness keeps it there. Grace gives us another way forward.
