On January 19th we will make our Faith Promise Commitment for 2025 as a congregation. Be praying about how you can get more involved with God's call to tell the world about Jesus. Make plans to join us on Sunday, January 19th at 9:15 & 10:45 am as we celebrate what God is doing through Pinedale all around the world!
NOTE: As a special treat this year, Clyde Bogle from Mt. Pleasant Christian Church in Jamaica, will be preaching both services on January 12th.
At Pinedale, our mission is to reach out beyond the walls of our local congregation in order to fulfill the Great Commission by proclaiming the Gospel of Christ, making disciples, and relating to the physical and spiritual needs of people.
"Making disciples" and "relating to people" involves using any available means to show and share the love of Jesus Christ. Evangelizing, encouraging, discipling, mentoring, church planting, church building, teaching, health clinics, disaster support, and aiding in relief and development are all ways to introduce God's love to His people.
We have many opportunities for you to become involved locally and worldwide through our missions program at Pinedale. One way is through Faith Promise.
What is Faith Promise?
Faith Promise is Pinedale’s way to fund local and world-wide missionary outreaches. It is a commitment between you and God as well as a way for you to give financial support to the Missions Program.
At the beginning of each year, we hold a Faith Promise Rally where we ask for pledges to be made to the Missions Fund for the upcoming year. The Missions Committee uses the pledge total on that day to decide on the Missions budget for the upcoming year.
Please be in prayer about what God would have you do to further His Kingdom through your Faith Promise pledge on January 19.
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:16-20
